Why not? I couldn't mess it up any worst than the incumbents have. If we can break up the 3 member majority voting block of Honeycutt- Lindley and Pack we may be able to address some citizens issues instead of developer issues. Let me know what you think.. and we will have some fun with this.

You have my vote Paul. How refreshing to see a candidate who has not taken 99% of his money from the housing industry. Finally someone who will represent the people of Hesperia. I wish you luck against the Lindley, Honeycutt, Pack attack machine.

You have my vote (and my wife's) Paul. Please try and get the word out, we will do our part to do the same. If you get elected though, don't be like the rest of the "good ol boys" and sell us out though. Not that I think you will in the slightest. What can we do for you in the way of help and or funds ??

Hey Paul, Good job on Barb Stanton's show! I tried calling in but the line was busy. I wanted to thank you for shining the light of truth on the corrupt rats in city hall. This town would sure smell a lot cleaner with a guy like you elected (Not a Pack, Lindley, or Honeycutt who are making a lot of money off the politics in Hesperia). Represent the citizens, not the down the hill developers!

Well its October 15th and this is some weird experience. The last stupid event was on Friday the 13th. When you take out filing papers to run for office one of the options you get is if you want a "candidate statement" to be in the sample ballot so people can read your position BEFORE they vote. It costs $790 bucks to get your statement printed in the sample ballot. On Thursday the 12th and Friday the 13th absentee ballots were delivered in Hesperia- however the sample ballots with the candidates statements were still sitting in the post office. What this means is that people could and were voting before they could read the official candidate and local initiative statement's. No one will ever know how many people voted absentee on those days before the sample ballots were delivered. The disadvantage is spread evenly between candidates or issues who paid for statements, but come November 8th every candidate or issue that loses will have a ligitimate complaint with the Registrar of Voters that their statements should be delivered BEFORE the actual absentee ballots are. It's like delivering your paid ad the day after the election, its too late then. So far over $400 million dollars has been spent in California for this election. I can't think of anything that's a bigger waste of money. There's way to much suffering in this world that could be eased or way to many simple things that need to be done instead of wasting money on lying advertisements or smear ad's.. Log in in let me know what you think or how it's going.

Hi Paul, got my absentee ballot AND the campaign book on the same day. Your statement was in it. As we speak my vote for you (and my wifes) is at the Post Office. BOL, I hope you win. I see the same old shills are at it again..(Lindley/Pack/Vogler). Check out our "new pavement" west of Peach/Main (south of Main) off Walnut. WHAT A JOKE ! Tore up our streets and gave us TWELVE INCHES of New pavement. The rest of the street is destroyed ! Man, I hope you win.

I have 100 yard signs being made and I will let you know when I get them. There were still sample ballots sitting on the Hesperia Post office floor when I went home from work today at 4:00 pm. So it will be going on a week after the absentee ballots were delivered on Thursday. Snail Mail indeed. Good stuff coming soon, so check back daily if possible. Thanks for participating.

Hi Paul. There will be a "letter to the editor" coming out shortly, or so Steve Williams says. Unfortunately, I spelled your last name Bosaki, instead of the correct version. Let us know when the signs are available and where. Yes, it was MY mail carrier who was supposed to deliver a message to you from me..As far as the letter, I hope they publish it. I need signs on Tangerine and Walnut !! BOL (I can also distribute throughout the city)

Hi Paul Haven't posted on here since just after you first started the site. I am really glad to see your running for council. You are what this city really needs "an honest person dedicated to representing the citizens" It doesn't seem to matter anymore on what level you look, local, county, state or federal our reps are corrupt. This election with only a few exceptions, I will not be voting for any incumbents. Hope you get your signs soon. I can help put them up.DesertMe excellent letter There is a new movie out by Aaron Russo called America Freedom to Fascism. It's now viewable on the web. It's almost 2hrs long, so it takes awhile to load. It is well worth the time. You can see it here: http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-8184277703302736253&q=fascism

Well the wife just brought in the mail and we just received the first of mudslinging ad campaign by Ed Pack and Jim Lindley against Rita Vogler and Thurston Smith. The ad is claiming they are breaking the law using a false address, ommited contact info on campaign brochures, failed to report money raised and where it came from, used a false campaign id number on mailers. The ad is also implying they are working for out of state interests. It's obvious the pro-developer three can not run on their record.

Thanks for the compliments. Mine was the "about dog and pony show etc"..Of course, the Daily Depress left out the word "whores" in relation to the City Council...All of us can easily email our letters to the Daily Press. Address to email on inside front of local section. Evidently people at City Hall read this website. Have a relative that works @ City Hall. I have been "requested" to refrain from writing because we have the same last name.(and it irritates them). If you look at my signature on the letter, you can figure it out.. Nice to see the signs out.

We have lived in Hesperia since 1971, We voted to be a City. We were promised that paving the roads would be one of the first priorities. Road paving did not happen. Our City Council seems to think that allowing high density tract developments will help bring in money for roads, but now we have no infrastructure. Our roads are worse than ever. It often takes me 20 minutes to travel the seven miles from home to work. Yesterday I waited through two green lights at I & Main, traveling westbound. Is this "gridlock"? I think so! Let's get some infrastructure. Let's get our traffic lights synchronized. How difficult is that to do? Let's stop the high density until we get things fixed.

Well I'm done with the yard signs and will be out and about putting them up around Hesperia. I would guess that they are a nessesary evil, as you need to get your name out there but they sure clutter up the streets. But I really look foreward to them coming down after the election and for the whole thing to be over. Especially the crap that they send you in the mail! I VOTE ABSENTEE every year and I think it is the best way to go as you can vote early and not have to worry about it after. Check the permanent absentee ballot box and they will mail it to you every election. Thanks to every one for getting the word out on the website and my run to get on the City Council. The more I talk to people, the more I learn about their anger about the direction that the current City Council has taken Hesperia. I spent some time with Brad and Sue on 7th street on Saturday. The traffic was none stop and fast down their residential street-a 50 miles an hour speed limit, but people were going alot faster than that. We have become hostages in our own homes, fearing and dreading to go out into the out of control streets of Hesperia. No cops to write tickets or call when you need help. An hour wait if they come out at all. The gridlock on Main -now extends to the east side of the bridge heading towards the 15 back to I ave almost all of the time. It's stopped going both ways these days and more people and cars from the new developments is not helping. More and more people talk about getting out of the High Desert as Hesperia has turned into the place that they were trying to get away from when they moved here years ago. I don't blame them a bit. It doesn't have to be this way if we can change the City Council this election. 2 weeks away- so make sure you count by voting.

Hello Paul, Great information these days. Can you believe the laughable attack Lindley is slinging against the Voglers for "possible" campaign violations? This is all based on Jim Lindley saying that the Voglers might have, mind you no proof, told these people to send a mailer out. And Lindley doesn't talk to all his developer backers down the hill about the vicious mailers they send out. Of course the Daily Press prints this nonsense and then their just happens to be 3 letters in the paper supporting this crap (I am sure Lindley knew nothing about that). Where's the outrage over Lindley nominating Tad "California Charter Academy" Honeycutt to mayor? Or the FBI investing bribes? Or 17% increase in crime. Anyway, some of the pictures on your pages are not showing up like the Ed Pack fundraiser page.

Got another nasty ad against Rita and Al Vogler today. It's claiming they made over 3 million dollars on land deals with developers. The funny thing is none of the money appears to come from the sale of property in Hesperia. There is some question I would suppose on the land sales in Summit Valley. The ad was put out by Glenn Aylor. Is he a Norwicki clone?

Glen Aylor is Jim Lindley's right hand man. My theory is that he is a plant for Lindley and his sole purpose is to attack Rita Vogler, etc so Jim Lindley doesn't have to and look like the A-Hole he really is.

It's Nov 2, and its getting weirder every day. Did you see the picture on the cover of the Daily Press today, the bald guy with the green Oak Hills shirt on. That was me at the city council meeting, the guy with the beard in the picture is Elliott Barkan-the guy running against Anthony Adams. He sat down in front of me and I recognized him from his picture. Anyway I'm running for city council and I get the back of my head on the front page 5 days before the election. Just my luck. Today, I'm set up at the Stater Bros at Maple and Main and the postmaster stops by to tell me that my opponents have been complaining about the preferrential treatment that I have been getting over them at the Hesperia Post Offfice. That my flyers are getting delivered and theirs are not. We both had a laugh when I told him that I don't have any flyers nor have I sent any out. Wild imaginations see things that aren't there. These people are getting desperate with a week to go, its pathetic. Anyway, it will be interesting to see how it comes out on Tuesday.

That is too funny Paul. Everyday for the past week all we have been getting is election materials. It's as if one is not enough. --------- This just came out on the Brad blog yesterday. It should be MSM news, but we all know how that goes.HERE WE GO AGAIN: 'Just Push the Yellow Button and Vote as Many Times as You Want' on Sequoia Touch-Screen Voting Machines! New Vulnerability Discovered on Touch-Screen Systems Made by One of Country's Largest Voting Machine Companies Will Affect Elections in Dozens of States! California's Secretary of State Bruce McPherson Denies Knowledge of Vulnerability Well After His Office Had Been Notified… "Just push the yellow button and you can vote as many times as you want," Tom Courbat, an Election Integrity advocate from Riverside County, California informed The BRAD BLOG tonight. Not that we're in any mood to report more such stories, but this seems to be a big one. A very big one. It seems there's a little yellow button on the back of every touch-screen computer made by Sequoia Voting Systems, that allows any voter, or poll worker, or precinct inspector to set the system into "Manual Mode" allowing them to cast as many votes as they want. You can read the entire article here: http://www.bradblog.com/?p=3714 --------- Paul where you going to be this weekend? Wanted to let you know that my wife seen the big truck with your sign it. She said it was great.

Hey Paul, I've been cruising around town and have noticed most of your signs are GONE. Lindley seems to have brand new signs everywhere. Thinks somethings going on ? Well, Lindley, Pack et al. all admit that they are bought and paid for by Frontier Homes (as seen in the Daily Press). Aylor thinks his contribution was a "gift from God", oh brother....Also, I find it interesting that the Daily Mess has covered all the candidates but you. Good luck Tuesday !

Sue Pack's Ass Paul!!!!! What a whining, lying sack of crap. The reason you, "The Postman" got all those votes is because you were not BOUGHT AND PAID FOR by developer money!!!!!! AND the people of Hesperia are not as stupid as Pack thinks. Who is the genious that came up with the campaign technique of having a jerk like Aylor attack Rita Vogler. That will really turn the voters on to your side?!?!?!?!? When you are a tool like Aylor and Pack, you can't see what a tool you are so obviously you are bewildered that no one likes you.

Too bad. Wait til next election Pack Rat. We don't forget easily. Can you say "run out on a rail" ? Also I'd REALLY like to know a bit more about Ed Packs "career" as a Hesperia Firefighter (as stated in his campaign literature 20 year Hesperia "fireman"). Mike Leonard (who is and was a Hesperia firefighter and Captain for over 25 years) said he never heard of Ed Pack being a Hesperia Firefighter. And Mike knows them ALL. More lies Eddie ? Got caught again eh ? We do need a recall...As for me, I'll vote again for my "Commie" mail carrier. At least he doesn't have "I am a whore for developers" tattooed on his forehead like you Pack rat..

Hello everyone, I am in Sedona Arizona this morning headed for Phoenix later today. I pulled up the latest numbers off of the registrar's web site last night- no changes in the order but I am at 3998 votes right now. It should be finalized next Monday and I hope to go over 4000 votes for this time around. Not to bad for the $400 bucks I spent on yard signs, around 10 cents a vote. I will revamp the website and my efforts towards turning the corner with the City Council towards public issues before business when I get back. The property owners group from Oak Hills has done a remarkable job in representing their interests, so I think a Hesperia Property Owners/Taxpayers group could do the same. I think that is the direction that residents of Hesperia should take in their relationship with the City Council. What do you think? Do we have any idea as to where the new city council will take the city? We need a game plan and we need to follow through with it next year or we are wasting our time. Post your thoughts with your reasons and lets have some discussion as to what to do now.

Hi Paul Isn't Sedona beautiful? Personally I think some sort of citizen action committee would be a great idea. I too think we are going to need a plan. I would support a limiting of residential growth for a period of time. At least until a reasonable amount of the roads were paved and the city services increased to cover the growth we already have. I also would like to see something in the way of water usage/rate changes in regard to the owners of agricultural properties. Those of us that moved to this area and purchased agricultural property should not be penalized by the increased growth in the residential areas. I would like to see a measure to return all agricultural property of 1 plus acres to a reduced agricultural water rate. I would also like to see the city get its fire department back and eventually have it's own police dept. I believe we the citizens would have more control if they were truly ours. Another ordinance I would like to see is one that prohibits the renting of property to illegal aliens. There are sections of this city that are turning into ghettos/barrios. Many times there are more than 3 families living in one single family residence. Legal residency is an issue in most of these cases. If the Federal government won't enforce our immigration laws, then it is up to us on the local level to do so.

angry/paul i posted once before you might have seen the big sign in the back of my pick up around town ref to "vote for paul and vote out city council no more developer money" congrats on a good showing paul just goes to show what a few determined people can do we did upset the developer money train but thats just the begining maybe next election we could get a dozen large signs in pick ups its an attention getter more so than road signs... one thing im not short on is ideas when it comes to fumigating rats in govt maybe next time we can go after honeycut in like manner if the truth is known he will be out on his a$$.....ANGRY. i mentioned the illegal alien issue to paul and it looks like you and i are on agreement i get minutemen e mail on their activites and they are growing nationwide and are doing much more than the controled media reports there are a number of them in the high desert although somewhat loosly knitted but seem willing...i propose several things..so far in the last few months 50 cities nationwide have passed laws to deal with issue of illegal alien invaders that the feds refuse to do ..most common like in the san diego area about 200 active minutemen supporters are out with flags every weekend they picket city councils or what ever it takes legally they just passed restrictions on them ..the basis of most laws nationwide focus on the two most important things a $1000 fine to anybody renting to an illegal alien and a $1000 fine to anybody employing and illegal alien per individual...all one has to do is look at the criminals pouring into the area gang members defacing public and private property if anybody thinks this is over reacting read the most recent FBI crime report on illegal aliens ...heres the condensed version from ca. nv. n.m.tx all pertain to illegal aliens 47% of stopped drivers no driver lic. or ins. 92% are illegal aliens...380,000 plus anchor babies born in the USA 2005 97.2% of expence paid for by taxpayers..66% OF BIRTHS IN CA ARE TO ILLEGAL ALIENS...95% of warrants for murder in los angeles are for illegal aliens..24.9% of inmates in ca prisons are illegal aliens....71% of all apprehended stolen cars in 2005 were stolen by illegal aliens or transport coyotes much more but this is to make my point this must be stopped our country is being turned into a third world cesspool and that includes the city of hesperia if we dont do something about it this town will be turned over to freeloaders and thugs ..how about a freeze on appartment construction perhaps a no growth innitive or very slow growth innitive tied to citizens approval it think we need to get together and network on all these issues and im sure paul could think of many more..WHAT SAY YOU? I would also like the City to pass a "no rental to ILLEGAL immigrants". Everytime a City does this it sends a message to the Federal Govt. that we are sick and tired of what is going on in this country. I think things are starting to snowball around the country concerning the ILLEGALS. I am also very concerned about the "water rates" in our city. If we don't have enough water why are we building all these new houses? It is highway robbery. Thanks for the board Paul. I voted for you and will again. Let's all go to the Council meetings, we CAN do something to turn things around.

Well, if we are going to form a group of concerned property owners, then we need to start forming some ideas. Like a meeting, for one. I'd like to see one held on a weekend night where we could get together and actually form something, like Oak Hills has done. If we DON'T and apathy reigns supreme, then we have only ourselves to blame. We should also do some form of advertising in the media to get people who still are not aware of this website to get involved. Any ideas ? Place, times, anything ? I'm going to start looking for a place. I wonder if the City would loan us a meeting room in that nice, shiny City Hall we are all paying for ? Ya think ?
