I'm going to profile the members of the MWA and the Victorville City Council and you can get a better picture of the relationship between the agencies.Below is the bio from the MWA agency website. The theme is private interests before public interests, time and time again.

Mike Page   Director, Division 4

Mike Page was elected to the Board of Directors in November 2001 as the representative of Division 4, which encompasses Spring Valley Lake, most of Victorville, the area known as the "Golden Triangle" and a small portion of Hesperia. He has lived in the desert for most of his life. Page graduated from CSU, San Bernardino with a double major in Political Science and Business Management. he has worked for the phone company for over 15 years and is currently Verizon's External Affairs & Public Policy Manager for an area that includes Eastern/Central California and Nevada. He is the past Chairman of the Board of the Victorville Chamber of Commerce and is involved in several other Chambers. Page is also involved in the Victorville Rotary Club, is a member of the Board of Directors for the Kern County Workforce Investment Board and a member of two Community College Foundation Boards. Page was elected on his stance that the MWA allow the High Desert Power Project to purchase water from the aqueduct at a premium rate. He believes that helping balance the overdraft of our water basin by using the profits to buy aqueduct water and put that water back into our water supply ensures future water availability for the coming generations.

I missed the part about the High Desert Power Project and the profits being used to buy aqueduct water. The Power plant uses 3.5 MILLION Gallons of water a day out of our State Water allotment. Our allotment is now at 40% of what it was then and these guys are still making a profit for private interests using water that could be recharging the aquifer. Next will be Mr. Page's form 460's that state who gave him money to run his campaign for his MWA position.

We have a Fred Nassif of Apple Valley, the Committee to Re-elect Terry Caldwell and the mysterious La Mesa Pena at 8300 Utica #200 in Rancho Cucamonga on 9-28-08.

We have an earlier La Mesa Pena donation on 9-11-08 of $1250.00 Turoci and Bradco at $500.00 each and Buck Johns Inland Group at $2500.00 of $5000.00

The other Inland Group's $2500.00 Then we 3 $1000.00 donations from the same address in Victorville. I think it's Todd Tatum behind all 3. Then a new name at 8300 Utica # 200. Instead of La Mesa Pena we now have Norris-Karney Three?

The other $1250.00 from Norris-Karney, MWA director Kimberly Cox, Stirling Enterprises and a Golden State Water Company.

A $4,500.00 donation from Tax Payers For Good Government PAC. This was the BIA -Empire Land- PAC.

You have Lewis Partners at $5000.00 Then Jim Cox? Is this the Victorville City Manager?

Then you have who Mr. Page supported with his campaign funds. On this page its MWA's Doug Shumway and Victorville City Councilman Bob Hunter.

To wrap up this page, Mr.Page also gave to Victorville Councilmen Cabriales, McEachron and Rothschild and then to MWA's Kimberly Cox.
