Mitzelfelt is the poster boy of a special interest politician selling his votes on the County Board of Supervisors to private interests. Placing the BIA-Developer-Real Estate interests first, his other campaign contributors second, and the taxpayers and residents of the 1st District last or not at all.

Its said that a picture is worth a thousand words. Above is ex-BIA employee now appointed County Supervisor Mitzelfelt at the BIA/ County water conference. Next to him are other BIA developers and Kirby Brill of the Mojave Water Agency. The MWA co-sponsored the BIA Conference with $15,000 of your tax dollars to figure out how the BIA can keep building houses in the High Desert despite the fact that we don't have enough water for the people here now. I can't seem to find out who the "community stakeholders" were at the conference and how they represented the "communities" interests. I thought the County was supposed to represent the taxpayers, but in San Bernardino County they represent the BIA and developer interests first. And the MWA is there for the BIA's future plans and to meet the developers water needs with the Super Well project.
