Above is San Bernardino County Assessor William John Postmus's form 700 filed on April 1 2008 for the January 1,2007 to December 31,2007 Annual Statement. Box 5 Verification states, "I have used all reasonable diligence in preparing this statement. I have reviewed this statement and to the best of my knowledge the information contained herein and in any attached schedules is true and complete. I certify under penalty of perjury under the laws of the State of California that the foregoing is true and correct." Lets see how Assessor Postmus did. First up is schedule A-2 Investments, Income and assets of Business Entities/Trusts
Postmus lists a Triland.Inc under 1.Business Entity or Trust and lists 2 separate properties -Assessors Parcel Numbers-APN# 0458052070000 and APN# 0458052060000. And on the line for City or Other Precise Location of Real Property, Postmus the County Assessor wrote "Vacant lot, Lucerne Valley."
On the next Schedule A-2 below he repeats with APN# 0458052050000 and the "Vacant lot, Lucerne Valley."

Click on the blue Parcel Inquiry button and enter the APN. The lot numbers are 05 -06-and 07 on the same ASSR map that is available to download after you have entered the APN. If you down load the View ASSR Map after entering any of the APNs above, it will be the same City of Adelanto map shown below.
If you download the Property Information on any of the 3 APN's it will show the Current Owners as Bentow, Jeff and TRI LAND Inc. TRI Land Inc Owner and Mailing Address shows C/O John Dino Defazio. This is assessors Postmus partner in TRI Land Inc.
And for the last document, both Jeff Bentow and Dino Defazio show up on the same page as contributing to the Inland Empire Pac. This is the PAC that gave Mitzelfelt $100,000.00 and has the same treasurer as his campaign-Betty Presley- and Brad claimed not to know anything about it.
So,from here it looks like Postmus doesn't know where his properties are located or his website is wrong or both. Lucerne Valley is not the same as Adelanto. And the Assessor is investing with developers who have contributed to both his campaign and Mitzelfelts. Lets see if any of the newspapers pick up on this story. Any day now......
