In trying to document the campaign finance documents I ran into some difficulties. The County ROV only lists his committee Friends Of Mike Ramos back to July of 2005. Ramos ran in 2002 with a committee name of Mike Ramos For District Attorney. That committee is not available on the ROV website or I have the wrong name. Anyway, here are some of the documents I found.

 Ramos has $347,519.94 cash on hand as of 12-31-2007. If Congressman Jerry Lewis decides not to run in 2010, then Ramos will run for Congress.

The newspaper version has Leggio giving Ramos $30,000.00. With this committee Ramos has received $10,000.00 twice from Mark Leggio who was arrested recently for campaign finance violations.The other $10,000.00 must have been earlier. This $10,000.00 was in 2006

Then in 2007,

 Ramos's name came up in an FPPC decision against Arrowhead Credit Union.
