OVERALL QUALITY OF LIFE At the outset of the interview, respondents were asked to rate the overall quality of life in the City using a five-point scale of excellent, good, fair, poor, or very poor. As shown in Figure 1 , more than two-thirds (70%) of respondents shared favorable opinions of the quality of life in Hesperia, with 11% reporting it is excellent and 59% stating it is good. An additional 23% of residents indicated that the quality of life in the City is fair,
whereas 6% used poor or very poor to describe the quality of life in Hesperia.
